Due to bad weather, our priests cannot come to celebrate Mass as we had expected. However, our designated Extra-Eucharist Ministers will distribute the Holy communion. Holy Hours will open as usual.
Sorry for the conveniences.
A bar in Atlanta is hosting a "Black Mass". This is a vile sacrilege of the utmost degree. The event holders have allegedly procured the Precious Body of our Lord and now are attempting to desecrate it. Linked is a memo sent by the Archdiocese about the event. Please remain in prayer.

Thanks to ALL who participated...it was a great day and great fun to do. We will do it again next year!!!! Some St Mary's Church kids participating in the Toccoa City Christmas Parade decorated, 'on their own, with their creative, magical, imaginative, whimsical, witty (and every other missing adjective)' minds and spirit, a true transformation of a utility trailer into a 'New York City Macy's Day Christmas float'!!!! Please come and cheer them on as they compete for the Grand Prize. This Saturday, December 2nd @ 4 pm along Doyle Street in downtown Toccoa!
UPDATE!!! thanks to ALL who came to the luncheon. We had twenty more attending than expected!...WE LOVE UNEXPECTED DROP-INS...ALL ARE WELCOME AT ST MARY'S...check out the photos in the photo tab.. Gaudete Sunday, the third Sunday of Advent, 'JOY'; the pink candle...the Parish Council will be hosting a Parish Community luncheon @ 2 pm in the Parish Hall. The PC will furnish the meats (spiral ham, chicken fingers and breads). Parishioners are asked to bring casseroles, desserts , beverages or other 'shareable' dish. We also need a head count...a signup sheet is in the narthex. Children can make a simple tree ornament for the Sanctuary tree (supplies will be furnished). We also are expecting Santa to to make an appearance.
Well the Parish Hall is empty; the photographers packed up and moved on to their next 'church' assignment in Baxley, Ga. Although we didn't 'capture' the number of parishioners we hoped for, we certainly captured the 'spirit' of the parishioners. Thanks to ALL who participated. We will do it again in 2022!
