What is the Ladies Guild?
The Saint Mary's Catholic Church Ladies Guild is a group for prayer, discussion, and gathering. This group is open to all women of the parish. Each member supports a mutual bond of unity and understanding with all women, in Christ, of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Activities of the Ladies Guild:- Laundering Altar Linen Cloths
- Organizing and preparing funeral receptions
- Sponsoring the Parish Lenten/Advent Retreat(s)
- Sponsor Archdiocesan 'Woman of the Year' recognition
- Sponsor food drives throughout the year
- Maintain paper goods, soaps, etc. for the Parish Life Center and Religious education building
- Organize and sponsor various dinners and fellowship activities
- Organize yard and bake sales
- Additional activities as need arises
- Maintain and sell religious articles in the narthex
- Member of the Atlanta Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (AACCW)
- Support the Parish Council and Fr. Henry
